Pride 2024 promises to be an unforgettable celebration of love, diversity, and inclusivity in the vibrant city of Amsterdam. Known for its open-minded and welcoming atmosphere, Amsterdam is the perfect host for this joyous event.
Kicking off the celebration, the Pride Walk will take place on Saturday, 27th of July. Starting at Amstelveld and ending at Vondelpark, this march is a powerful demonstration of solidarity and support for LGBTQ+ rights. Following the walk Vondelpark will transform into Pride Park, a lively venue offering a variety of activities, including music performances, dance shows, and food stalls.
Over the weekend from 2nd to 4th of August several neighbourhoods in Amsterdam will host street parties that cater to different tastes and preferences. And from 31st July till 1st of August don’t miss the Open-Air Cinema, there will be 400 seats available, so bring your snacks and drinks and most importantly – be on time.
The highlight of Pride will be the iconic Canal Parade on 3rd of August, where elaborately decorated boats will glide through Amsterdam’s canals, each representing different LGBTQ+ organizations, businesses, and community groups.
