The vibrant city of Amsterdam offers a lot of events to choose from for the upcoming weekend. Whether you’re into music, art, food or just looking for a good time, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

You can still catch art performances of Holland Festival on the 28th and 29th of June as they are the last days of this well-known festival. For example, 4D art performance Sisyphe by Victor Pilon, that attempts to grasp the absurdity of existence, by moving mountain of sand for 12 days armed with only a shovel.

Check out Anatolia Festival on 29th or 30th of June from 12:00-23:00 in Amsterdamse Bostheater. This event celebrates Turkish culture with traditional music, dance performances, workshops and a market with Turkish dishes and products. There are also activities for children, making it a fun day for the whole family.

Enjoy live jazz performances by talented jazz musicians from the Amsterdam Conservatory together with DJ Von Rosenthal in the sunny courtyard garden of H’ART Museum. The event will take place on 30th of June from 15:00-18:00. Before the event you can visit the museum to see the work of the legendary abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky that has come all the way from Paris’ Centre Pompidou.

Anyone who loves improvisation theatre will want to go to the Flock Festival on 28th, 29th and 30th of June from 10:00 until 22:00 in Treehouse NDSM. There you can get involved in workshops or just sit back and watch one of the performances and shows.

On 28th of June from 16:00 until 23:45 at Café De Blauwe Engel you can join their Summer Party 2024. Spend a nice summer evening with a tasty snack, drink and dancing by various live acts. There will be such performers as Emanuel the Artist, DJ Evandee officiated, DJ Theo, Saxy Mr S, Long Field Percussion and Jovana Samba Show.

The Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus will bring their annual summer show to Muziekgebouw ann ‘t IJ on 29th of June. Reflecting on the choir’s own diverse musical tastes, nearly 100 singers and dancers will perform space-themed hits from the likes of Jamiroquai, Lady Gaga, Bjork, Radiohead and the indispensable David Bowie.
